The Inglewood/Airport Area Chamber of Commerce, working together as a team to provide opportunities for growth,
networking and access to resources within the business community, is committed to: INTEGRITY – promoting honest,
ethical and trustworthy business standards; LEADERSHIP – striving for excellence in meeting members’ needs; ADVOCACY
– representing and supporting the business community with local and state government; and QUALITY RESOURCES – providing
tools to enhance business growth.
The Inglewood/Airport Area Chamber of Commerce is a diversified non-profit (501C-6) business organization whose membership is
composed of people and businesses who unite together to pursue community and economic goals for the betterment of all who live,
work and own businesses in the Inglewood/Airport Area.
The 32-member Chamber Board of Directors is accountable to the membership for any action, plan or program undertaken in the name
of the Chamber, and the Board employs a full-time paid executive who is responsible for the day-to-day activities and operation
of the organization.
The Chamber, in addition to its many active committees and task forces, has four business sections of the community, corresponding
to councilmanic districts that are represented on the Board. These sections hold periodic meeting for formulating various
programs of work in relation to their particular needs.
The Chamber budget is predicated on membership dues income.
The Inglewood/Airport Area Chamber of Commerce owns its own office facilities, and it located at 330 East Queen Street.
