WHAT IS A CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
It is an opportunity. An opportunity for you and your company to join the business people of this community who are working together to accomplish what they know they cannot achieve alone. It is the opportunity for you to become a member of a team whose potential is unlimited.

The Inglewood/Airport Area Chamber of Commerce’s Team is made up of big business and small business people. Its roster includes representative from all sectors of the Inglewood/Airport Area business community.

WHAT DOES IT DO?
If the Chamber achieved nothing more than the potential that can be derived from community “Networking”, then membership in the Chamber would be invaluable. However, the Chamber is much more. It provides resources, services and information difficult for individuals to obtain on their own.

The variety and scope of Chamber activities is unlimited, depending on the needs of the community and the desire and ability of the Chamber to carry them out.

The Chamber is the business community’s “front door”. Come in. You are welcome here.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The policies and programs of the Chamber are determined by its Board of Directors elected by the membership. They, in turn select a paid executive vice president, whose basic function is to organize and execute the Chamber’s programs.

WHO FINANCES THE CHAMBER?
You do. You do so through very reasonable annual membership dues. You can also help the Chamber fund itself by participating in the various fund-raising events that are conducted during the course of the year.

The Chamber of Commerce Team shares a mutual desire to achieve a better community, thus making membership a tangible investment in the present and future welfare of both the individual and their community.

YOU AND YOUR CHAMBER
As a Chamber Team Member, serving on committees, coordinating activities and attending meetings, you will become involved in an organizational effort that is mutually beneficial to your community, your neighbors and yourself.

The Chamber Team is made up of people networking together for the common good and prosperity of the business community.
